Dr. Noyes was a co-author of a paper entitled “The Effect of an ACL Reconstruction in Controlling Rotational Knee Stability in Knees with Intact and Physiologic Laxity of Secondary Restraints as Defined by Tibiofemoral Compartment Translations and Graft Forces”, which was accepted for presentation at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons in New Orleans in March 2018.  The original research paper was presented by Lauren Hauser MS, who is a bioengineer in the Noyes Knee Institute.  This research showed the importance of ACL reconstruction to achieve knee stability and made recommendations to the surgeon on the types of ACL grafts to select.  Dr. Noyes has performed thousands of ACL surgeries using these techniques and the goal was to bring this information to an international group of surgeons.  Read abstract here
